Wednesday Morning

"The sound of birds stop the noise in my mind."

Carly Simon

I was inspired by Betsy's bird pictures to go outside this morning and take a few shots of my own, even though it was only 30 degrees.  At least the sun is shining and the sky is blue!

Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair
and let us huddle together as darkness takes over
We are at home amidst the birds and the trees,

for we are children of nature.

You got some good pictures of the birds. I'm just sorry you had to go out on a chilly morning to get them. Hopefully you will soon have some warmer weather.

Very cute little birds, the towhee and junco look familiar. More signs of spring.

It looks as though you didn't get snow, so that at least is a plus - for you and the birds!

Hi Loran, Glad my birds inspired you.... I love your birds --and there's alot of difference in the male and female Towhees, aren't there???? Beautiful birds.... Have you heard their call/song??? They sing "Drink Your Tea-hee-hee-hee-hee"..... Heard that?????

Great post my friend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Love your shots of the towhee. I was trying hard to get some of one in my yard but he kept to the shadows.
