It feels like living in the city while you’re in the country side! Anyway, I’m glad that you chose to have steel roof and sidings. Aside from affordability, steels are also known for its durability and low maintenance.

Willene Fagen
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01043361628888655033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2112970747402646704.post-6022378280661287542009-11-27T12:04:11.871-07:002009-11-27T12:04:11.871-07:00Hi Loran,

We sure enjoyed our week's journey through parts of your world - we were in SLC, Park City/Canyons, and Boulder (Escalante Wilderness). What a beautiful state you live in! Looks as though you'll be toasty warm when the snow starts to fly. Yes, blogging is a fun way to "travel" all over the world and meet lots of interesting folks - yourself included.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04984171407726520584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2112970747402646704.post-78855510937935314212009-11-25T15:30:50.335-07:002009-11-25T15:30:50.335-07:00You have a wonderful home and view! For a time we lived in the White Mountains of Arizona and used firewood to heat the house.

Some people see a fire and think all sorts of warm happy thoughts. My muscles start aching from the memories of the hauling the logs to the house, cutting, splitting, and stacking the wood and then hauling the wood from the stacks to the house every day.

Give me a gas log!!!

Just kidding.Yogi♪♪♪https://www.blogger.com/profile/00411274031147372579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2112970747402646704.post-68298866545439041632009-11-24T06:21:37.513-07:002009-11-24T06:21:37.513-07:00Enjoyed seeing your world!! At our cabin, wood is the only source of heat. Since we are there only late spring to early fall I can indulge myself and split the needed wood by hand. It upsets some of my male neighbors (they think I need help) but I truely enjoy the process. Most of my neighbors use a splitter, a necessity when there is a great deal to be split.Martha Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15797951661712327698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2112970747402646704.post-62371228710033462812009-11-23T13:37:36.163-07:002009-11-23T13:37:36.163-07:00Oh so much space - lucky you! I never thought to take pictures of my hometown to China cos to me it was so mundane and boring, but my students were fascinated when I showed them images I'd purloined from the internet. In turn, they were befuddled by me taking pictures in the market.Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16307649445757209162noreply@blogger.com
