Springtime in Texas

Last Thursday we left for a long weekend trip to Ft. Worth.  While we were there I got an early birthday present--a new macro lens!  We had the opportunity to visit the Botanic Gardens and I had fun experimenting with my new toy.  It was cold and rainy most of the time we were there, but the skies cleared on Sunday.  It was wonderful to get out of the snow and see flowers.

Love the beautiful flowers, MM.. You've got some great pictures with your macro lens. George's camera has that--but my little one does not.

Love that Daffodil/Jonquil--or whatever you call it!!! ha

Nice! I like the water drop on the yellow pansy. You did really well with your new toy!

Great time of year to go south.
I'm jealous of your new lens. You'll be posting some extra-great photos now. Those flowers are lovely.
Happy birthday!
