Setting sun

There were clouds with interesting texture and color the other night, before we got more SNOW!!
(You might want to enlarge this one if you have the time.)

See if there are sunnier skies over at Sky Watch Friday.

Fantastic capture, Loran! Love those clouds and colors! We have had some unusual skies here in the northwest, I know, looks as though you may have had them, too! Hope you have a great weekend!

I love the colors on the lenticular clouds. Mountains do make their own weather. We got more snow today also.

Wow, those clouds are very weird and cool looking. It looks like someone distorted the picture by stretching them out. That crazy mother nature.

Those are the softest, silkiest clouds I've ever seen -- but snow?

I'll enjoy the photo and wish for them no more then! LOL

We get lenticular clouds like those over Mt. Rainier. They can be quite impressive when it looks liek the mountain has a saucer sitting on it.
