Columbines on Leidy Peak

A few weeks ago we hiked up high to get this wonderful view and admire all the wildflowers. Sometimes exertion is worth it. Nature's garden is my favorite but I do enjoy manicured gardens as well. To enjoy an infinite variety of blooms from all around the world, check out Today's Flowers and celebrate its first anniversary!

What a great view. Yes, sometimes we have to make an extra effort to enjoy the beauty of natures. The columbines are beautiful.

I've never seen these outside of a garden, so this is a revelation. As always, the wild variety is sweeter than the bigger cultivated one.
