Fact or fantasy?

Your figure will be heavenly when you wear Dr. Warner's Coraline Corset.

If you wear it then you won't be able to breathe.

          Soon you'll be an angel!

Time to play again at Stony River.

Ha Ha ha... Cute one Loran... I used to wear a girdle --in my younger days, but realized that it didn't do much except push my flab either up or down... ha ha... I don't punish myself anymore!!!!!

Happy New Year.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh that's funny! I wish I had thought of it from that angle, as if writing the ad copy.

We just went to Charleston, SC, for an anniversary trip, and at one of the houses we toured they talked about corsets and the damage they did. I'm so glad they were done away with!

Very well done. Enjoyed your take on it.

Oh so perfect. I can't even imagine wearing a corset. I'd surely be dead.

LOL! Out "takes" on this were similar and yet very different. Your story left me grinning.

Oh I wish it was true!!

RE: your comment on my blog about the free Kindle downloads. You can go to Amazon.com and do a sort by $. Or you can go to your specific genre (mine would be mystery) and then sort from lowest to highest. I think you can also type in Free Kindle Downloads and they will pop up.

That's truth in advertising!

Now that's how to read through advertising promises!! Every time I see these old corsets, I just think OMG how did ladies get through their day. I have enough trouble in sweatpants LOL.

That seems perfect - truth in advertising and all that! Great twist! :D

I can't imagine the torture, then I remember the single episode of Nip/Tuck I watched... corsets don't have anything on twentieth century craziness in the pursuit of beauty!

The very best of New Years to you!
Cheers!
Steven

Isn't that the truth! Can you believe what women did to impress men? You'd think men would prefer breathing ladies.

Well done. Hope you had a great Christmas.
