Winter sky

"Walk on a rainbow trail;
walk on a trail of song,
and all about you will be beauty.
There is a way out of every dark mist,
over a rainbow trail."

--Robert Motherwell

What hauntingly beautiful scenery to go with your poignant hopeful verse. Wonderful! Am walking along the rainbow trail myself, with all the Wizard of Oz coincidences that have taken place in my life over the past year.

oh, such hope and joy in that burst of light!

I am loving your world here ... llamas?! I've always dreamed of living where I could have a couple of llamas!

Great place for a your spirit walk ... can I come join you?

The light is wonderful in this photo. We're under gray skies, awaiting another burst of snow.

Such a beautiful break in the clouds as though the sky opened to allow the angels to enter!

A "rainbow trail" is a wonderful concept. Your misty photo is a great complement to the verse. Glad you have your camera back!

Wonderful photo; what lies behind that mist?? A day full of promise, or something more sinister? (I'm hoping it's the former!!) The verse fits wonderfully, a great pair!

This is one of those lovely shots that looks like a nineteenth-century Romantic painting. There's something Friedrich-esque about it (he was fond of painting misty darkness). Thanks for posting it.
