From one week to another

Last weekend was beautiful, sunny and pretty warm.  Both of my favorite girls were home for the weekend.  Alyson had a photography project to do.  She used her sister, Amber, and her boyfriend, Eric as models.  I took the opportunity for photos as well.

Here they are goofing around but it makes ME happy to look at them being happy.

And then they are just being seriously good looking.

Two days later it was cold and snowing!

Temperatures at night have been down in the 20's and it feels so cold.  It's a good thing we have a lot of wood stacked for winter.

Skies in all their infinite variety can be found at Skywatch Friday.

What beautiful daughters you have, Loran. All everyone looks so happy. Imagine the change in the weather in two days. Wow, I felt cold looking at the photos. We're in the middle of our glorious summer here in South Africa. You bundle up this weekend and have a cosy time with your loved ones. Blessings and (((hugs))) Jo

Beautiful young people - it makes me happy to see them smiling. I really like the shot of snow caps on the seed heads, Loran.

Oh--I know how happy you were to have both daughters at home. I know how much you must miss them.

Great pictures..... Brrrr---those last ones look like it's COLD up there.... We had a few days of cold (cold for us) temps here --but it's gotten warm again.

Hugs,
Betsy

Nice sky, nice young people, cold! Yo have a little bit of everything going on in our post. Please keep all that white cold stuff where you are. We don't need it.

Your daughters are beautiful and they do look like they're having fun! And it does look like a rather drastic change in the weather!! Hope you all have a great weekend and stay warm!!!

I can understand why you were happy to have both of your daughters home, and not so happy about the snow. After a bitterly cold weekend last week, we've had pleasant temperatures. I wouldn't mind if it stayed this way for a while!

That's quite a woodpile. You're ready for a hard winter, just in case.
Your girls are looking beautiful and happy, which is all a parent can ask.

That's the way it is this time of year, from sleeveless to parka. It looks like you have enough wood to last the winter, though.
