Winter

Dust of Snow by Robert Frost

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I rued.

It's not winter on the calendar yet but it's winter in My World.

Love Frost's words and your photo is fantastic, Loran! Can see the cold, but feel the beauty and that's what makes it fantastic! Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving a great week ahead!

Simply wonderful, and so ironic, as the snow fell on me today at the whisp of a crow...how funny you post this appropriate poem.

Brrrrrr..... I've heard about your 'winter' out there.... We have rain tonight and high winds --but the temp is about 50 degrees. Supposed to get really cold tomorrow nigh....

Hope you are doing fine, Loran. How was Thanksgiving?
Hugs,
Betsy

This is one of the coolest snow shots I've seen today. It's a beautiful place and a very interesting perspective.

Winter in your world is beautiful. I really like your picture. And, of course, Frost's poem is beautiful as well.

Pretty much winter here, in Ontario, too!
