Driving home on a winter afternoon

Rock formation

 Cloud formation

Turn right or left?

The scenery here is never boring, neither are the skies featured in SkyWatch Fridays.

Gorgeous shots of both formations -- clouds and rocks! It does look cold, but beautiful! Hope you have a great weekend, Loran! Enjoy!

You have some beautiful formations to admire.
Go right, unless you want to end up on Pine Ridge. (Unless I'm wrong about the direction, which is entirely possible!)

Very beautiful ride home. I miss the mountains. Right now I have all the snow without the mountains.

You have both beautiful mountains AND sky there! your snows there almost look like Dallas does today with our 7 inches of snow! Thanks for a great Skywatch entry!

Those high-pressure clouds in the blue, blue sky. Wonderful!

I like how if you enlarge the photo of the rock formation, you can see there's a little bush growing (somehow) near the top. Thanks for these. You've got a great eye...

The cloud formation picture is really cool. I like the way the cloud is just peeking over the mountain, and it looks so huge!
