Castle Cove

This is the mountain I consider "mine."  Esther will know what I mean.  I see it every day from my southern windows, drive by it every day, watch it change colors with the seasons and the weather and the sun.  It's beautiful and special but really belongs to the Bureau of Land Management.  They don't know  it but it's mine.

For more beautiful skies around the world, check here.

I hereby grant you verbal ownership... and I won't tell the BLM.
Beautiful photo of your mountain.

It does look like a rock castle in there! I have places like this, too - we won't tell the BLM!

Beautiful. The Earth doesn't really belong to anyone, so why shouldn't it be yours:)

Hey MM, I don't know why you don't get them to rename that mountain after you. It is so gorgeous... I'm sure you enjoy seeing it throughout the year!!!!

Thanks for sharing it with US.
Hugs,
Betsy

I totally understand. Ever since we moved to Idaho years ago and I fell in love with King Mountain and claimed it for myself! I only lived there for 2 years but I watched the mountain's moods everyday. Since then I claim a new mountain each place I have lived. Right now it is Mt. Fagan behind me in AZ. So glad someone else understands this!

Beautiful country. I loved finding the old mines along the trails I hiked in and around Tucson.

It is great to own a mountain. this looks wild and wonderful. I won't tell any body. It is a SW secret. Seriously, you have a beautiful view onto this mountain, see all the seasons change. It is always there and delights you every day.
