Sunset over Pine Ridge

These shots were taken while I was standing on our patio admiring the western skies. Ponderosa pines dot the ridge.  It's another great place for a walk.

You certainly have a great place to sit and admire the natural beauty before you. I love the colouring on these.

Love the quote. One has to feel eternity when admiring the vast beauty of nature.

There is something about trees on the ridgetop...

Lucky you to have so much open sky to be seen from your house. I can tell tho that you don't take it for granted.

They're just gorgeous. What a nice way to end my day. We didn't have much of a sunset in Astoria today, or not that I saw, anyway.

The flags in Astoria were going a little crazy because the wind was whipping in gusts. It may have to do with the wind currents on the river or between the buildings, but I stood for awhile trying to get the fish banner extended, and it would whip left, right, straight up, and then hang limp. It was a challenge to get it sort of where I wanted it and see some of the other flags extended at the same time!

Great view and the way you posed your trees is pretty nice, too!

You certainly captured some gorgeous colors! I got so caught up watching skies that I forgot to tell you that my gnome tagged you! Well, a kitty tagged my garden gnome, and to keep things going, I tagged you. I hope one of your pets is eager to play. Please visit me for the rules and have fun! :)
