Flaming Gorge skies at different times of day

There is a saying "out West"--If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. Early morning on Flaming Gorge was sunny and bright. Late afternoon the clouds gathered and the sky became menacing. Fortunately we were off the lake before any storm hit. We never did get rained on.

To see other changing skies, check out Sky Watch Friday.

We say the exact same thing in Tennessee. If you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes and it will change!!!!! ha

Great pictures of the sky around Flaming Gorge.

Have a great Labor Day Weekend.

I have to get to Flaming Gorge to do some fishing. I have never been there and I have to do it once in my lifetime.

Great pictures.

ps.... to answer your question. Wascana Park is about 2300 acres in size, pretty huge for an urban park.

The word "majestic" comes to mind.

(do you know I had to spell check that word and had spelled it maGestic? I'm sure you would have thought "The word "idiot" comes to mind.") :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful stormy sky series of photos this week. Our skies change often here in So Cal but seldom look as threatening as yours ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Glad you were off the lake by the time the storm hit - those clouds looked menacing. Feel that saying could be applicable to the UK too! ;)
