Llama treats

Llamas like oats and corn as a treat but they live on grass hay, consuming much less than what horses eat.  Also, they don't beat a pasture down into dirt either.

This morning I went out to feed them and then laid in the dirt to take pictures.  Just another day in a blogger's life.

Spud came over first for a bite.

Skipper was making sure it wasn't a bone for him.

Wally came over next.

Domino was last.  She is usually the most piggish and will spit at the other llamas to make sure she gets the most.  They don't spit at us.

Corn, anyone?

See what other critters are doing at Camera Critters.

Do they have hats? I've always fancied a llama but unfortunately a suburban garden isn't the best place for them...

Your lamas are cute. Glad they don't spit at you, or hopefully Skipper either.
The things we do for blog!

They don't tare up the trail either and their droppings are much less obnoxious than those of horses.

Your llama buddies are pretty ones, and they do seem to appreciate their treats. Skipper doesn't seem a bit intimidated!

I've never seen llamas eating up close and personal before. I don't know about you but life is sometimes about the blog for me.

I just loved reading about the dynamics of llama mealtimes! And their names were the best, including Spud, the dog. Big smiles here thanks to you!
