The temptation is too great

I can't stand it.  I have to blog.  I'm sure you understand.....

After weathering complications connecting in Seattle, we made it to Vancouver.  We got to stand in a line that far exceed anything at Disneyland to get on the Coral Princess.  It was so nice to get on the ship after two days of traveling.

We had driven to Salt Lake City on Friday and spent the night so we could fly out Saturday morning, May 15.  It's a four hour drive so we didn't want to leave home at 2:30 a.m. to get to the airport in time.  You can understand this too.

Saturday evening we set sail.  The first shot is the Vancouver, BC skyline.  On the way from the airport to the dock our bus driver told us many interesting things about Vancouver, but I can't remember them.  Maybe you understand this as well.

My husband is reflected in the window as we started to go under this bridge.

If I only manage to blog a few pictures a day, this project seems more manageable.

My blog is trying to catch up to My World!

Loran - I knew you wouldn't be able to not blog. Work can wait - I understand completely. Besides, I want to hear about your trip. Tell us everything. I like the husband in the window photo.

I understand. When traveling I take So many pics, then can't seem to catch up on everything on my blog. I'm still working on South Africa. Look forward to more of this project.

Hi Loran, I am so glad you are taking us on your Alaskan cruise with you. I want to go so bad. Hopefully, we'll go next year.

Anxious to see more....

We sailed on the Coral Princess last fall. It was our third Alaska cruise and we will do it again someday. This year we are going hiking in Scotland instead.

Keep the posts coming! I've had quite a Blog Absence because of family commitments and general exhaustion caused by work, and I'm hungry for parts of the world other than my wee corner of Scotland.

And yes, I completely understand about the lost nuggets of information about Vancouver.
