Totem Bight State Historical Park Continued

The best part of the park was getting to walk around in nature, especially after being on the ship for two days.  It reminds me a lot of the northwest section of the United States, in the landscape and the Native art.

Frommer's guide book calls Ketchikan "misty and mysterious."

So many rivers to cross!

I thought of Betsy and George many times on our trip, there are lots of beautiful waterfalls in Alaska.  This was just the beginning.

After our wonderful tour we headed back in to town and had local fish and chips for lunch--it was delicious!  We strolled around town before heading back to the ship.

Oh Wow, Loran..... I'd LOVE that place. I've always heard how beautiful the waterfalls are up there. I just got a movie from another blog friend --who just returned from Alaska... Between him and you, I'm getting VERY excited about this upcoming trip possibility.

Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
