In to Valdez



As we descended things started to green up and melt.


Of course we had to stop to admire the waterfalls.


The one below is called Horsetail Falls for obvious reasons.


How's this for a scenic camping view?  There were so many birds in the wetlands here.





We could actually hear the water rushing down the hill from where we were camped.


They have big fish in Alaska!  

We tried to arrange a fishing trip for the next day but it didn't work out.  So it goes sometimes.

Oh My Heart---Loran... Valdez is on my list also!!!!! Those waterfalls are fabulous.... I'm sure you were there at a perfect time to see the melting....

These are so gorgeous! I love the waterfalls! I've always thought it would be fun to visit Alaska, but I never really even imagined the beauty! I love your photos! The next best thing to being there myself! Have a wonderful weekend, Loran!

The green growth and the waterfalls are lovely. Looks almost tropical in the scenes without snow!
