Kenai Fjords Tours

We signed up for a four hour boat trip to see the marine life that the area is famous for and we were not disappointed.

We were back on the water with warm clothes on.

The boat in this picture gives you a little bit of scale as far as the size of everything in Alaska.  They definitely have Texas beat!

Again, there is an abundance of falling water.

Then we came up on a colony (?) of sea lions lounging in the sun.

There was no shortage of birds either.

They seem to be able to live together in harmony.

Ah, life is good on this day.

We even saw a mountain goat.

I wasn't kidding about the birds.

And then we moved further out into the bay.

Absolutely awesome sightings. Can't wait to go there myself, someday.

Oh My Gosh---I'd love that boat ride... You saw it all didn't you???? I love the sea lions... And of course, I love the waterfalls along the way.

I say this every other time I think --but this is another of my favorite posts of yours from Alaska.

Hugs,
Betsy
