Tofino, BC

Tofino is a little more touristy than Ucluelet, where we stayed, but it's entertaining with lots of good restaurants.

Isn't this a lovely place for lunch?

I could hardly believe my eyes when the sun shone on this beautiful flower.

Of course there are many water-related activities in the area.

It was a marvelous mix of clouds and blue sky that day.

We headed off for another hike before a bear watching boat trip later in the day.

This trail was almost entirely made out of wood and stairs.

We found these at the bottom.  And yes, of course, we had to walk all the way back up!

That was My World not too long ago.

What a beautiful place! Love your photos - especially the one of the stairs through the greenery.

This looks like a wonderful place to visit. I really like your pictures of the water with the mist in the background. You certainly had to travel down (and back up) a lot of stairs, but it certainly looks like the effort was worth it.

Hi Loran, I've been catching up on blogs today --including yours... I loved your Seattle photos --and also the ones in Vancouer, Victoria, Ucluelet and Tofino.... Glad your hubby finally got here since he had this trip on his 'bucket' list.

Sorry about the weather at the gardens in Victoria. We want to see them when we are there next year--if possible.

Love your little cabin... I would have wanted to stay there for at least a week!!!! ha

I'd also love that wood and stairs trail into what looks like the rainforest...

Seattle looks like a fabulous city also...

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Hugs,
Betsy

I love the shots of the fog off in the distance. Very otherworldly.

And you know something. I am going to keep walking all the way down and then all the way back up until i can't anymore.

Are those boat floats on the tree? I enjoyed your photo tour very much - the clouds and water made for some dreamy photos.
