Dusk

"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality.  It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."--Henri Cartier-Bresson

Hi MM, Your picture is beautiful and I love that quote. One thing I've learned since beginning all of the blogging --is that in order to be a photographer, you have to look at LOTS of ordinary things in life. You don't have to take the perfect picture in order to find beauty around you. I've begun to look more closely at EVERYTHING around me!!! Yeah!
Hugs,
Betsy

You chose a simple image that had possibility, and captured it well. I love the quote. So often, reality is fleeting, and we don't take the time to capture the moment.

Beautiful!

I agree with Janie, so often, it's about stopping to enjoy the moments. It's the little things that make up the greater picture!

That's a great quote ... and interesting choice of photo, as if a photo "bottles" a bit of intangible.

I've seen some bottles this week, these are in a dead heat tie with a Mt Dew bottle and an Orange Slice bottle...lovely work.
Congrats on Post of the Day mention at David's!
