Inauguration Day

What a momentous day in our nation's history, watching brought tears to my eyes.

I grew up in the DC area, witnessed race riots in the 1960's, lost faith in our country over the years, starting thinking I lived in an alternate universe, and almost gave up until a handsome, young man starting talking about hope and change.

I want to believe.

Hope, take wings!
A lot is resting on our new President's shoulders, and I'm not expecting miracles, but his speech did give me chills. I feel good about
America.

Great photo with flag at top of mountain rock. Looks like a dry snow.

I love your photo with the flag on top. So you live in DC before.. I live near DC,about 45 minutes. You have a nice blog to read. Thank you.
