Beach Day

As a child our family would vacation for two weeks at Rehobeth Beach, Delaware.  I love the beach but don't get to vacation on the ocean regularly.  It was great to be able to combine a visit to the Pacific with a visit to see my sister and her husband.

This is Joni smiling for the camera on the roof of the building Dave maintains.

This is Dave.

Some SoCal dude checking out the pier.

Surfer dude running by.  I must admit there was no shortage of "eye candy!"  I may be an old married woman but I'm not blind.

People in southern California seem pretty active.

There are lots of surfers.

After work Dave came down to fly his kite but the wind wasn't as good as he would have liked.

This isn't really my world, I was just visiting my sister's world, but if you like visiting other worlds too, then check out My World Tuesday.

Well, I certainly appreciated the surfers too! I like the new template, it complements your content well.

Beautiful beach area, Loran... Seeing the beach and people swimming and surfing seems so foreign to me in November.

And you are right----it's OKAY to LOOK at those gorgeous dudes... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Hmmmm funny, but it seems that a number of us took notice of the "eye candy" right away! Ain't nothin' wrong with that! Really great shots and a fun post!

Have a great week!

I love it. Now if I talked about eye candy I'd be banned from the internet!
Great pictures. SoCal still seems like something special after all these years.

Great shots of you're sister's world. When we visit our son in the San Fernado Valley we sometimes go for a drive to Ventura Harbor, it's a nice area.

Looks like a very busy beach day! I love chances to get to the beach, even if I don't get too far into the water. :)

Great post. I just got back from the beach. The question is was I looking for seashells or checking out the "eye candy"

I believe "your" world is wherever you go. I take that approach anyway! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the beach, but don't get there much at all. TWO WEEKS when you were a kid? What heaven must have been. And I wasn't blind with the first surfer dude, either!

Where there are waves good enough for surfing, there are bound to be lots of surfers and with that yep, lots of eye candies!!! I don't know which one to focus on the majestic bluewaters under the noonday sun or the demi-gods come to life lol!

That looks like a pretty cool world to me. I kinda like the dudish eye candy, too.

It doesn't hurt to look at the candy.
