Seward

A beautiful blue Alaskan sky.

We found a great campsite right on Resurrection Bay.  It was close to town too so of course we had to explore a little.  We also bought tickets for a boat ride the next day.  There was only one company open for business so we picked that one!  It was going to be our last chance to see whales.

Twilight of the setting sun.

There are many more sky pictures posted on Sky Watch Friday where it's always a pleasure to visit the rest of the world.

Those snow covered peaks certainly contrast sharply to the brilliant blue skies. Like the signs.

The Iditarod fascinates me. I wish I had a dog team capable of running that race.
Beautiful twilight with the sparkles on the water.
