Duck pond at sunrise

When we lived in our old neighborhood I used to take walks by this pond quite frequently.  Sometimes I drive by just to visit again.

Visit other neighborhoods from around the world at My World Tuesday.

I drive by my old house probably every other time I visit my home area, but this is worth a lot of driving by. So pretty!

Oh, the beauty of early morning walks - until the snow gets two feet deep. Beautiful pictures of the early morning light.

I can (just! getting up in the morning isn't my forte) see why you'd get up to go there at dawn. I can imagine that a few minutes there would be an amazingly relaxing and grounding start to the day.

What a tranquil place - I would visit, too. By the way, Skipper is quite cute (oh - I mean regal!). I can barely keep up with my own Facebook page - how does he manage with all his other doggly duties?
