Wednesday Wishes

Ah, it seems to be a part of Murphy's Law.  Make a commitment and the Universe conspires to challenge you.  I declared Wednesday a day for me, a day dedicated to my spiritual growth and mental or creative health, a day I could take off away from the madding crowd.  Then work got in the way.  There are families out there that I am dedicated to helping, even if that means that meetings get scheduled on my day.  So it goes.

I am tired, tired physically, tired of winter and tired of gray skies.  I haven't been inspired to get my camera out because the light is so crappy.  White and gray or gray and white?

So I scrounged in my archives and found a winter bridge picture with Brogan on it for my header.  It should have switched to winter back in November but I'm a little behind schedule on that one.  I did find a nice picture of hoar frost and an inspiring quote.  It's the best I can do today.

Not to mention our DSL is running like dial up and taking forever to load anything.  Multiple calls to the phone company (local, rural), changes in telephone, cords and filters have availed us nothing.  I can't load the picture I had picked out for my post.

My office mate was wishing it was Thursday but it wasn't.

Oh well (being?)

Oh, I do so relate to your day! Mine hasn't been as frustrating as yours, but close. At least we have had a break in the weather, some blue skies, some lovely clouds and fairly mild temps! Wish I could send you some! But all the aches and pains of being 76 in relatively cold weather does put a damper on ones activities! Ah, well, tomorrow is another day -- or at least it was for Scarlett! Do hope you have a good day tomorrow, some sun, some warmth, a smile or two!

Brogan is sooo cute hunkered down in the middle of the snowy bridge. Watching and contemplating.

Here's hoping that the rest of the week goes better for you.

As for weather, I once heard a folk song about Cleveland, Ohio that described the place as "the hundred shades of gray" ... and boy does that fit! I've taken to colorizing my winter landscapes in Photoshop.

Your question, "White and gray or gray and white?" ... reminds me of another lifetime, when I would visit forums dedicated to Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" and post in character as Gandalf. So I'll take either.

Loran;) your blogger header with Brogan in the snow, made up for any lack you think your post had. I hope your week improves. Spring is surely on the way for you-all in the US? (((Hugs))) Jo

Whenever you pick a day for spiritual rejuvenation, all the gremlins seem to come out and try to stop you!

Tell your office mate it's Thursday now. :) I love the new header! I'm sick of winter too, but at least it's almost over.

Some days, not all, are like that. Yea, they are! Doesn't have to be Wednesday.

I also can relate to what your saying. Snow, wind, cold, and grey weather is getting to allot of us, including me over here in PA. I've had enough of the darn cold Winter weather and am looking for Spring. Like you, we're tired of our jobs and working for a living. I'm wondering just where these "Golden Years" are. Maybe for some, but not for me . . . just yet.

I understand tired. Thankfully our overcast is never all grey or all white. But definitely tired of winter here. It can't last much longer though, right?
