Arrival

It took 13 hours but we made it to the Ranger Creek Campground in one day. That's a record! If we had known the last two mile stretch of road was smoother than usual, we might have made it all the way to Park Reservoir, our final destination, but we didn't. Instead we arrived early Sunday morning, July 5, and parked the camper in a very nice spot. It always feels good to arrive!

Alyson and Skipper are happy to get out of the truck.

We were very lucky that a family friend showed up with motorcycle ramps and helped us to unload those bikes.

No need to worry about how to get the bikes back on the truck, yet......
The anticlimactic conclusion to my previous post (I won't make you wait any longer to find out how we got home) was that cousin Ken decided to put three motorcycles on his trailer so we only had to load one motorcycle into the back of our truck. We put a lot of his gear into our truck and camper. They left Wyoming the same time we did, came to our house and spent the night, then reloaded all their gear the next morning and headed home to Arizona. We really appreciated their help in getting up there and back.

I'm happy to be home, back on my computer and ready to post a series of very scenic shots from northern Wyoming. To see beautiful scenery from around the world, check out Scenic Sunday.

Oh the suspense scrolling down your post to see how the bikes got off the back of the truck! That looks a very neat solution.

All that empty space stretching out in front of your camping spot - bliss.

Oh phew! I've been wondering how you'd get the bikes back on and home again. (LOL!) What a lovely spot. I look forward to reading about your camping adventure.

Hi Loran,
I'm glad to hear you're home and didn't have any unpleasant incidents getting those wheelers off or onto the truck!
