You moose look hard

While in Wyoming we kept our eyes open for moose. They like wet areas like the one above, but no moose here.

Cousin Ken spotted this one on his way down to our camp so we ran up to catch a glance. It took a minute to locate him.

He's enjoying dinner.

He's not so sure about us.

Then he wandered back into the brush and you can now see why they are so hard to spot sometimes!

Great pictures! One morning when my husband was walking the dog, a moose came out of the woods, stood in the middle of the road, looked at them and returned to the woods. I'm not sure who was more surprised! Wish he had a camera with him...my husband that is...not the moose!

My grandparents took me to Yellowstone one summer - 1984 - & we got to see a moose drinking out of a stream. Everyone was pulled over taking pics - I'd never seen anything that HUGE before - It was great!

Beautiful photos

Ha, I'm surprised there are no moose this side of the pond. Hmm, must stop being so stereotypical, rabbitting on about the weather!

Moose are truly impressive animals ... or are they Mooses? I know the answer, I just like saying the latter.

MM: What a neat look at the large animal. It is amazing that such a big animal can melt into the brish.

Are your moose as dim-witted as the Scandinavian variety? They cause havoc with moving vehicles there.

Glad Bullwinkle was on his good behavior--a number of folks get stomped each year, and many more get run up a tree.
